My cat, 柳, is borderline diabetic, so I also have to feed her often, and only canned food-- the carbohydrates in dry food would be bad for her. So far I haven't had to give her insulin.

Did you mean that you have to give her a shot of some medicine, or do you give her subcutaneous fluids? I had to give my previous cat subcutaneous fluids because her kidneys were failing (she was over 18 years old), and she hated it.

Good luck keeping her healthy and happy!

give her an injection
She is put on a drip every day.
