a good way to improve English

I'm very interested in improving English.
During summer vacation, I'm taking an intensive English course which is provided by the department of English Education in my university.
This course is focusing on speaking in English so in every class, there are a lot of chances to practice speaking in English.
However, it is difficult to speak in English fast and accurately for me.
I think I'm good at writing in English rather than speaking in English.
To speak English fluently, it is necessary to come up with accurate words which can express what I want to say exactly but I don't have the ability to do it. I feel that I am improving but I have to practice and study more.
My professor said my fluency is average but accuracy is little low.
He advised me to record what I said, listen to it and be aware of my mistakes. After this training, I can lessen mistakes because I know about my mistakes. I think it is a good way to improve my English.
