Why, to me, god is a giraffe
If I open the fridge and I find no giraffe, I don't have any evidence about the fact that a giraffe didn't enter the fridge. Anyway, I have loads of evidence (the dimension of the giraffe in relation with the dimension of the fridge, the absence of footprints, etc) whom make me think the first sentence is correct. There are no evidences but a lot of clues.

If I open the fridge and I find no giraffe, I don't have any evidence to verify the fact that a giraffe didn't enter the fridge.
However, I have loads of evidence (the dimensions of the giraffe in relation to the dimensions of the fridge, the absence of footprints, etc) which makes me think the first sentence is correct. (The "loads" agrees with the "makes" because the "loads" is taken as one singular thing even though it has an -s.)
There is no evidence but there are a lot of clues.
