Long time no see.
Hi, everybody. The medical examination is coming. So I couldn't write my diary and correct your journals. I'm sorry for that.
But I've noticed that it is not good. I'm going to write short diaries for practicing.
Today, I finished two work books. They are about neurology and rheumatology. They have about 400 quizzes totally.
Thank you for reading and correcting.

My medical examination is coming.
So I couldn't write in my diary or correct yours.
I'm going to write short diary entries for practice.
They have about 400 quizzes totally.
But I've noticed that it is not good. (Technically, this sentence is alright, but it does not sound natural. If you substitute "that" for "it" it becomes a bit more natural, but still iffy.)
They have about 400 quizzes in totally.
About your two sentences, "They are about neurology and rheumatology." and "They have about 400 quizzes in total." They're fine. However, I think it would sound better to put the verbs into the past tense. This is because the previous sentence "I finished two work books." is in the past, and it feels unnatural to switch into present tense. Yes, the books still exist, but your relationship with them is over, as you have completed them.
The My medical examination is coming up.
But I've noticed that it is not good. I'm not really sure either, but I'd say "But I've noticed that it's not good to do that."
Today, I finished two workbooks.
So I couldn't write in my diary nor correct yours.
But I've noticed that this is not good.
>So I couldn't write in my diary or correct yours.

>I'm going to write short diary entries for practice.

Great!! Thank you! Your explanation is helpful!
>My medical examination is coming up.
This "up" was very difficult for meXD But now I feel I can use correctly!
Thank you!
