More than 80% of Westerners who I met had in common.
I want to submit the report to the something global food association.
When they talked about ice cream or chocolates, they showed dreamy look on their faces with closing their eyes and said, “Yummy!”
Next they started to insist on the superiority of their favorite ice cream or chocolates, for example, “This is the best in the world!”
Haven't you eaten all of ice cream or chocolates in the world yet?

私の出会った欧米人の８０％以上に共通点があった。
どこかの世界的な食べ物の協会にレポート提出したいくらいだ。
彼らはアイスクリームかチョコレートの話をするとうっとりと目を閉じて「Yummy!」と言うのだ。
そしてそれがどれだけおいしいか力説しだすのだ。「世界一だよ。」
世界中のアイスやチョコをまだ食べてないでしょうが。

Haven't you they already tried all of the ice cream or chocolates in the world yet? (Since you referred to "they" all along, you need to consistently use "they".)

Westeners also like ice cream with pie or waffles.
When they talk about ice cream or chocolate, their faces are very lively.
In my case, I prefer red bean paste sweets such as おしるこ.

欧米の人はチョコとかアイスとか好きですよね。私の海外の友人の間ではポッキーとハイチュウが人気よ(^^;
Ally Mcbealでもアリーが寝る前にどでかいアイスを抱えてベッドで食べるシーンに、日本人はこれやらないもんって思ってました。
私、100円のカップアイスでいいもん。（しかも安売り88円の時しか買わない）

Do you eat Fish and Chips every day as usual? haha
If I go to Your country, you should take your favorite Fish and Chips shop beside the sea with the sun setting and a live band playing. Wonderful!
While in China two French women asked "are you not missing your beans on toast"? I asked them what they were talking about and they said that all English people eat beans on toast everyday.Unfortunately,I had to shatter their illusions (I could see they were very dissappointed to find out it wasn't true).They were young so I cheered them up by saying maybe university students eat beans on toast everyday because its a cheap meal,they went away much happier.
So,as I have no wish to shatter your illusions, I will continue do my best to reinforce them for you!
My favorite chocolate is really bitter so it's probably not the best in the world either. =)

My favorite ice cream store closed down.
I used to make my own homemade ice cream until my stomach became weak.
