We met the most famous persons in Japan, we were very lucky!

Three weeks ago, my husband and I came across the Emperor and the Empress of Japan in my neiborhood unexpectedly.
They came a reserch laboratory near here.
However we didn't know that they were suppose to driving past here and a policeman stopped our car and we had to get off the car.
Then their car was driving past just in front of us.
There were only my husband and I.
A crowd of people holding the national flag were waiting ahead.
The Empress gave us bow politely.
She was so dignify and elegant, I felt she was an another world person like a かぐやひめ, moon princess.
I didn't want to take a picture by my cell phone, because I felt it was rude.
I was just waving my hand.
I was moved to tears because I knew she was in bad condition recently.
When I see met, I was just extracted my wisdom teeth so I didn't put make up, I must have shabby middle aged woman. Oh, no!
Have you met any celebrities?
My American friend said, “Japanese people respect the Imperial family but British people are not.”
三週間前、夫と私は近所で偶然に天皇皇后両陛下に出会いました。
おふたりはこの近くの研究所にいらしたのです。
私たちはそのことを知らずに警察官にとめられて車から降ろされました。
まさにその瞬間、おふたりの車が目の前を通ったのです。
そこには夫と私しかいませんでした。
旗を持った群衆はもっと先で待っていました。
皇后陛下は丁寧に私たちにお辞儀をしてくださいました。
気品がありエレガントでこの世のものではない、かぐや姫のようだと思いました。
私は携帯のカメラを向けたくなかった、失礼な気がしたから。
私はただただ手をふりました。
最近皇后さまの体調が悪いことを知っていたので涙ぐんでしまいました。
私が皇后さまにお会いした時、おやしらずを抜歯した直後でノーメイクのこ汚いオバサンだったのよ～。悔やまれる～！
皆さんは有名人に会ったことがありますか？
アメリカ人の友人は「日本人は皇室を尊敬してるよね、イギリス人と違ってさ」

When I met her, I was just extracted my wisdom teeth so I didn't put make up, I must have look like a shabby middle aged woman.

私は15,6年前に秋篠宮と紀子さまを地元で見ました。感激しました。
皇室の方々は見られることに慣れていらっしゃるので、立ち振る舞いがとっても美しいですよね。
美智子さまはおばあちゃんたちのアイドルですよね。御苦労もたくさんおありだと思うのですが、いつも真摯に自分の仕事をされているところが、国民の尊敬を集めるんだと思います^^

カナダに行ったときになぜか和食レストランで大橋巨泉さんを見かけました。声の大きな人でしたね～。
We were very lucky, we met the most famous people in Japan! (Using persons is fine, but that is usually reserved for formal speeches or papers you'd write for school. Instead, "people" is just fine.)

When the Empress and I met, I had just extracted my wisdom teeth so I didn't put on any makeup. I must have looked like a shabby, middle-aged woman.
I made mistakes a hundred times about neighbourhood spelling, I am fool.(>_<)

クイズダービーに出場した（ほとんどのL-8フレンドは知らないだろうが）友達の応援に行ったので、篠沢教授、はらたいら、竹下景子もセットよん。

There is a Imperial villa in my prefecture so they sometimes come there but as you know most of people don't have oportunities to happen to meet them.

私は、飛行機の前の席に板東英治板東英二さんが座ってたのと、市役所で辰巳卓郎さんと並んで座ってました。最初は全然分かんなかったけど、職員さんがこそこそ話してて、え？あなたは誰？って感じで見ると、辰巳卓郎さんで手帳にサインをしてもらいました。
まだ学生だったころ、京都旅行中におすぎとピーコのひとりが歩いていたの。
「あ、おすぎ！」って言ったら「ピーコです」って言ってそそくさと逃げられちゃったわ。爆

東京に住んでいた頃は有名人はかなり見たのよ。
松平健、マリアン、柴田恭平、キョンキョン、坂本冬実、彦麻呂、髙樹沙耶・・・・まだまだいる。
昨年、湘南のレストランで阿部サダオ一家に遭遇。別にうれしくないけど。
夫は東京の会社なので、最近もケンコバ、綾戸智恵に遭遇。

I never meet anyone famous. The only person I met that was famous was a professional basketball player. He left the team and joined another one a year later, and then everyone here hated him. ^^;

私は都内に住んでるけど、思い切りド田舎のほうなので有名人なんて会いません。悲しい・・・
皇室の追っかけでお会いしたと言って泣いてるおばちゃんを馬鹿にしていたけど、なんか気持ちがわかったわ。笑

友人が阿部ちゃんの中学の同級生でした。
おとなしくて目立たない子でお兄ちゃんのほうが優秀だったと言ってました。ひどいわ。(>_<) 私は学生時代に渋谷で遊んでましたが（だから馬鹿）やっぱりあの辺は遭遇します。

When I lived in Thailand, once we were in traffic because the King was ahead somewhere. But we were too far back to see him. I wonder if I dreamed up that memory?
