I like the morning of saturday,

I like the free time.

I can do anything what I want to in that time.

I can read book and study english and write entries and listening music and so on.

I like this time.

While I'm on my way home, I thought one thing after finished swimming.

I was passive for speaking English yet.

So I thought that I have to chance to meet foreigner.

How am I doing for it? ( or What method is there? )

I am doing study group for speaking English but everybody are only Korean

They have good skill in English but they is busy to talking about themselves

Where can i meet foreigner except for language school?

When I will go downtown, I often saw foreigner to be alone in like 'starbucks'

Shall I try to talk them?

Don't you think good method?

I have courage enough.

I heard it somewhere before that foreigner was to be kind(friendly) from 낯선사람

Is this the true?

When I will come foreigner, what is good question?.

If you have spare time, can i talk with me?

How have you been in Korea?

What are you work for livling in Korea?

What's going on here? Do you have a appointment?

If you go up to a foreigner you don't know, try not to ask too many questions immediately ^-^. I'm sure foreigners in Korea would love talking. It's part of the experience going to a foreign country.

Some other questions you can ask them are:
How do you like living here?
What is your favorite thing about Korea?
What country are you from?
What inspired you to come to Korea?

  • literally, "why did you come to Korea?" but everybody asks that. It's kind of cliche and boring. How about "are you here for business?" Of course visitors to your company will be there on business. One thing you can do is make lots of jokes.

  • are you waiting to see somebody?

More so than the direct approach, I recommend joking with the person. Just smile a lot and make some jokes. I'm sure they've already been asked the following questions:
why did you come to Korea?
Are you married?
do you like Korean food?
Where are you from?

try to avoid these questions. I would recommend just saying what people say in the states. Say something about the weather, or the traffic in the morning, or about what's in the Korean news. You know, the tradiitonal ice breakers.

I agree with Joesp. Don't ask too many questions to foreigners about being in Korea. Learning a few jokes will help. Foreigners usually like really mean, bad jokes. Asking people about their interests (hobbies, music, and stuff like that) can be okay, too. Don't ask foreigners their age of if they're married, especially to women.

Also, there are bars in every city that foreigners usually go to. There are also websites like meetup.com that foreigners use a lot. I think you should try meetup.com because many people who are new to Korea use it to make friends, so it may be easier to make a foreign friend through a group on there than in a bar or at Starbucks.
