I remembered that I carelessly left grocery bags containing a treatment cream and an eye lotion, I bought them at a drugstore, in the bus before I took a bath. I forgot about it completely because I took a nap in the bus. I called the bus company and asked an employee whether the grocery bags arrived there.
He said they were reached there. I have to go there to receive them.
I was fat in the head but I was lucky.

  • I completely forgot about them because I took a nap on the bus. Since you said "bags" you must use them because there are more than one.

  • I called the bus company and asked an employee whether the grocery bags were there or not. "... asked an employee if he had seen the bags or not." sounds good to me too.

Lucky...only in Japan! That would never happen in Chicago I don't think, so sad.

My friend left his school bag on the bus once. He was able to go to the bus company to pick it up.

And another friend left her entire year's work for our art class at the train station once. She was so worried because it was due in like a week... But very luckily, another one of her friends went to the train station about an hour after her and noticed her friend's work on the bench.

So while she was worrying about her work lots, her friend was bringing it to school. So she got very lucky. She was so relieved when her friend arrived and happened to have her art work with her.

That's really lucky. If I forgot something on the bus here, I would NEVER see it again.

Good evening!
Thank you for your comment!
In Australia, if someone left something on the bus or train , it would be taken it to the lost-and-found office?

@bon
Hello!
Thank you for your comment!
Yeah, I was sure they were reached the bus depot by the driver.
Because, I got off at next to the last station. (^^ゞ

@チュンリーさん
こんばんは!
そうなんです!終点の一つ手前で降りるので、運転手さんが届けてくれてるとは思っていたのです。
でも、ほんまに届いていたので、嬉しかったです!

It gets taken to the bus company.
I guess they have a lost-and-found collection.

I like hearing stories about people here getting their things back when they lose them like that.
People had lots of opportunities to be bad and steal the stuff, but they were nice and didn't do it.

when I was in Japan, my friend called me and asked me to pick him up cause he lost his wallet somewhere between Shizuoka and Osaka.

大阪から広島までの切符を買えなかったので、広島に帰られなかった。
私は彼を大阪まで迎えに行ってました。

次の日はJRに電話して、さいぷは静岡駅に見つけたって。それで、さいぷは広島まで送ってくれました。

and all the money, still safe in the wallet....
This is one of many wonderful thing about Japan.
