Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?　Parents are the best teacher.

I agree with the idea that parents are the best teacher for their kids. There are 2 main reasons for this: the length of time they share with their children, the influence the parents have on their children.

First of all, the long length of time that parents can share with their children is why it can be said that parents are the best teacher. As a prior premise, teaching requires spending some time between the 2 sides: the side of who teach and the other side of who learn. If they spend longer or more substantial time, they can learn more. Generally, what we call to our mind when we think who we call them "teacher" are school teachers. As what they are called indicates, they teach various subjects in classes to schoolchildren. However, if they can share whole school hours with schoolchildren, the length of time is not exceeding 6 or 7 hours. Furthermore, the length of time they can face schoolchildren individually is far less than 6 or 7 hours. Moreover, there are weekends that students don’t go to school. Therefore, the time that school teacher can share with individual schoolchildren is considerably shorter than we imagine. On the other hands, parents can spend left of the school hours with their children. Thus, the time parents can share with their children is far more than school teachers can. Moreover, because they can face their children individually, the time they spend is more substantial than the time children spend in school.

Secondly, the reason why I agree with the statement is the huge clout with children that their parents have. As the Japanese proverb “Children develop their value watching their parents' behavior.” goes, parents have most influence on the behavior of growing children. By modeling good behaviors and appropriate responses, it can be sure that their children learning how to act responsibility.

For those reasons, I agree with the idea that parents are the best teacher for their kids.
