土曜日に「荒井」という大人の生徒を教えますが、一緒に英語の記事を読んでいました。
I teach an adult student named "Arai" on Saturdays, and we were reading an English article together.
荒井さん：この単語ってなんだ？見たことない
Araiさん: What's this word? I've never seen it before.
沙羅：どっち？この「トラステッドアライ」ですか？
Me: Which word? "Trusted ally"?
荒井さん：そう、それ。何それ？トラステッドアライ？荒井？ーvー
Araiさん: Yes, that one. What's that? Trusted ally? Arai? -v-
沙羅：トラステッド荒井。トラステッド荒井！ホホホホ〜＾０＾
Me: Trusted-Arai. Trusted Arai! Aahahahah~ ^0^
荒井：そう？
Araiさん: Really?
沙羅：トラステッド荒井！＾０＾ほ〜ホホホホホ！
Me: Trusted Arai! ^0^ Aaaahahahaha!
荒井：．．．笑い過ぎ
Araiさん: ...it wasn't that funny.
チョ〜面白かった！
It was hilarious.

荒井さん：この単語ってな（～）んだ？♪// これはジョークの場合の聞き方。
沙羅：どれ？//is more possible. どっち is possible. 英語では文の中の単語を指す時what (or which)を使うけど，日本語ではwhereを使う。
荒井：そうなの？
沙羅：どれ？ (どっち is used when you choose one of two items.)
私は土曜日に荒井さんという大人の生徒を教えていますが、その人と一緒に英語の記事を読んでいました。
荒井さん：この単語はなんですか？
見たことがありません。
沙羅：どれですか？When you say"どっち " means one or the other. So if there are more than two,then you should say どれ.
何それ？......それは何ですか？
荒井：そうなんですかor そうなの？
沙羅：どっち？どの単語？
