Today is the traditional end of winter in Japan. It is called Setubun in Japanese.
We throw roasted soy beans to wish demons out, fortunes in. It's a traditional Japanese ritual.
My daughters enjoyed throwing soy beans to me who acted as a demon. It's really fun!

Very good Sinelittle.

Sounds like fun.

So winter ends on the 3rd or February? I was in Japan last February and it didn't seem like winter had finished :)

Thank you for correcting my entry. :))
You're right, Mark.
It is on the traditional East Asian calender, so it's actually winter now.
