「(a place) ～ある」
ある is used to what CAN NOT move by it self, like vehicles, foods and things, etc.
「図書室に新聞があります。」
　「いる」

「(a place) ～いる」
いる is used to what CAN move by it self, like mankind and animals.
「図書室に学生がいます。」

　「～で」と「～に」

(a place)～で (incidents, occurences) が「ある」

ex)
「土曜日、学校でパーティーがあります。」

(E-1) Cuando yo estaba duchándome, el teléfono sonó.
(E-2) Yo estaba duchándome, cuando el teléfono sonó.

(J-1) お風呂に入ってる時(を見計らって)、電話が鳴った。

1　空が曇(くも)って、急に気温(きおん)が低くなった。
2　冷蔵庫(れいぞうこ)に食料品(しょくりょうひん)をたくさん入れたので、温度(おんど)を低くした。

1 なる is an intransitive verb. The part of なったis the perfect form conjugated of なる. So, it can be said there is no one that gives a change.
2 する is an transitive verb. The part of したis the perfect form conjugated of する. The speaker gives a change with his intention.

3　部屋がきれいになった。息子が医者になった。(結果を重視)
4　部屋をきれいにした。息子を医者にした。(行為を重視)
