Homare Sawa is awarded the FIFA Women's World Player of the Year in 2011

I knew that Homare Sawa(澤 穂希) was awarded the FIFA Women's World Player of the Year in 2011 on TV news today. I was glad to hear the news. Because nobody has been awarded the prize. She was awarded it as Japanese for the first time. The Olympic Games will been held in London this summer. Japanese women soccer team called Nadeshiko Japan(なでしこジャパン) will take part in the Olympic Games. I'm looking forward to see the soccer games, and I hope that Japanese players play an active part in the games.

Homare Sawa was awarded the FIFA Women's World Player of the Year in 2011
I knew heard that Homare Sawa(澤 穂希) was awarded the FIFA Women's World Player of the Year in 2011 on TV news today.
Because As nobody has been awarded the prize before, she was the first Japanese person to receive it.
She was awarded it as Japanese for the first time.
The next Olympic Games will been held in London this summer.
The Japanese women soccer team called Nadeshiko Japan(なでしこジャパン) will take part in the Olympic Games.
