A nearby farmer gave my family some bamboo shoots.
近くの農家の人から竹の子をもらった。
He said that these were dug this morning and took my house them.
今日の朝掘ってきて、我が家に持ってきてくれたということである。
I'm looking forward to eating bamboo shoot rice made from them.
それらを使った竹の子ご飯を食べるのを楽しみにしている。
In Japan, There is a proverb that I can live 75 days long lives, when I eat the first product of the season.
日本では、初物を食べると75日寿命が延びるということわざがある。
I wish that I could live a long life.
ぼくも伸びてくれたらうれしい。
