Workshop

I went to take part in a workshop in Shizuoka city last Saturday. This workshop was to make the Suruga Castle made by cardboard boxes. I had taken part in the workshop for the first time. It was introduced from twitter's friend.

Since I took part in it for the first time, I worried how to make a castle. But teachers taught me how to make it.

This pictures is the castle that we made from the cardboard boxes. It seems a little strange, but I was very interesting to make it.

Hello Maru

Thank you for your correction and comment.

  • I had taken part in the workshop for the first time.
  • This was my first time taking part in the workshop. (Because it was your first time, it sounds strange if you use 'had' because that word implies having prior experience.)

  • Since I took part in it for the first time, I worried how to make a castle.
  • Since it was my first time taking part/there, I was worried about how to make the castle.
