The third of March is a girl’s day (Doll Festival) in Japan. We customarily display a set of ornamental dolls (hina-ningyo) representing the Emperor, Empress, attendants, and musicians in traditional court dress on platforms covered with a red carpet until March 3.

I was too busy to display them, so I displayed only two dolls of Emperor and Empress. The reason that I'm obsessed to display is I’ve heard that something wrong may happened for girls (me) if dolls are kept in a closet. Besides, if we continue displaying them after March 3, girls will become the old maid. lol

I’ve not put them back yet due to rainy days for a couple of days so as not to go moldy. I feel their faces look fierce and they are angry day and day. Uhhh, scary. I gotta put them back…

A 'grudge' is when you are a little unhappy with someone who has upset you and you resent them.

Perhaps this time you might use the word 'curse' = Doll's Curse or 'The Curse of the Dolls'
