Where Does Tsunami Hit (余波)

A tsunami generated by the immense earthquake in Chile hit Japan's coast on Feb. 28, but the initial waves washed ashore without causing major damage. I rethink the butterfly effect.

Today, I heard personnel reshuffle of my office for the next fiscal year. Luckily I will be able to work at same position and my salary is going to supposedly increase a little. Some supervisors and workers, however, will be transferred to another office or demoted. Some of them were close related with my responsibility.

Every year, we turn new leaves in the first quarter. Thus everybody is very nervous this season because everything such as schools starts in April simultaneously here in Japan. If you are going to have to be transferred to a different place, you’ll also have to arrange the procedure of school change for your child or choose to go alone without your family.

I felt to hear the sorrow and grievance of spouse of them who are order to transferred.

The question I always wonder is what's the real purpose of the organization?

I thought the butterfly effect is when a small, unrelated thing has a big impact?

It came about because somebody was trying to prove that a butterfly flapping his wings in India would cause a hurricane in the Eastern US...

I'm not sure though. Maybe you're right. =)
