A Weird Day (変な一日)
Gosh, I get three consecutive days off at last. I had a hard weekday as usual. ^^
It rained heavily during a week. On Thursday during the flight I was so happy to see Mt. Fuji through a sea of cloud, but I got soaked to the skin on the way to my office because of guerrilla rain (unpredictable local shower)!!
The sky was dark and strange purple color. Uhhh, creepy. Guerrilla rain has come to be common weather recently. Is it due to global warming? ^^;
BTW, the second picture is of the Osaka castle from the sky.

It rained heavily during a this week. (You use "during" two sentences in a row, so I rephrased this. Also could be: "during the week.")
On Thursday, during the flight I was so happy to see Mt.
Fuji through a sea of clouds, but I got soaked to the skin on the way to my office because of guerrilla rain (an unpredictable local shower)!!
The sky was a dark and strange purple color.
Guerrilla rain has come to be become common weather recently.
The sky was a strange, dark purple color.
Guerrilla rain has become common weather recently.
It rained heavily throughout the week. (this sentence is less stiff and more natural)
Fuji through a sea of cloud, but I got soaked to the bone (this is a popular proverb)on the way to my office because of guerrilla rain (unpredictable local shower)!!
Thank you for your corrections. ^^

We have a word "Yudachi(sudden rain at evening)" to describe a shower.
But guerrilla rain is a kind of rain at smaller area and shorter period.
Probably it is related with a lot of tall buildings, asphalt, and less woods.
I am so much envious of you!
I had a hard week as usual.
It rained heavily all week.

Fuji through a sea of clouds, but I got soaked to the skin on the way to my office because of a guerrilla rain (unpredictable local shower)!
The sky was dark, a strange purple color.
In the Midwestern US, we've taken unpredictable weather for granted for as long as anyone can remember. There's an old saying, "If you don't like the weather in Ohio, wait five minutes."

Fuji through a sea of cloud, but I got soaked to the skin on the way to my office because of guerrilla rain (unpredictable local shower)!! I don't think guerilla rain is a common expression in English. At least not where I live.
Uhhh, creepy. What you have works, but just in case you don't know, there are a couple of ways of saying "uh" that have fairly different meanings:uhh=unsure ugh=creeped out or disgusted.
Is it due to global warming? Maybe, but strange weather patterns areactually normal (if that makes any sense - it's a bit of a paradox.)
Thank you for explaining the usage of ugh. ^^
It's very useful for me. Thanks!

We have freak storms all the time lately.
