Hot! Hot! My room is an attic, so temperature’s gonna 50 centi-degree afternoon. My sweat runs though my body and I almost go faint.

I wake up every early morning and want to do something. However, my knee (ligament) and hip joint was injured due to excessive activities since September. Although it is fine everyday, I cannot run, jog, play golf, and swim. ^^; In the last winter I couldn’t sleep because of severe pain, but I get better now.

I’m going to go to beach with my family tomorrow. I bought a tent and a watermelon for a game. What do you usually play on the beach?

Ciao.

Waaa, nice english.

It is extremelly hot here too! In the city I live in, it is usually about 40 degrees Celsius outside every day. Usually I hide inside studying, or go to the gym for a few hours at my University. Having a pool to use whenever is nice :D

I hope your knee continues to heal well. And I don't leave anywhere near a beach, so usually when I go it's a rare experience!

Man it is really hot up here in Nagahama (Shiga-ken) too! I am cleaning my apartment cuz I am moving back to American and end up sweating after 10 mins!

Usually I have a BBQ at the beach! Or in my case 琵琶湖。

I've not gone to the beach for quite a while now...I think it's also a bad idea because in here, it's rainy season.

50 C is no joke; be sure to drink plenty of water and get out of there if you feel dizziness, muscle weakness, or nausea.

On a lighter note, I don't live near the beach anymore, but I usually go swimming when I'm there. Have fun,

Ryan

What kind of a game do you play with a watermelon? For me this is chotto hen desu.
Jul 27th 2010 09:31 Kyoko

A watermelon game is smashing it by a stick on condition you are blindfeld.
Other poeple instruct where the watermelon is. That's an exiting game. ^^

  • What do you usually do at the beach?

I don't like the beach because I sunburn easily. When I used to go to the beach near San Francisco, I mainly played with the sea anemones in the tidepools.

We have a dog beach close to my home. Sometimes we take Cosmo (our dog). We swim with him and then he digs a hole in the sand. We make sand castles. We collect seashells. We have a picnic, except we cut up the watermelon before going to the beach usually ^^; If we bring a frisbee we can play with that of course too. Also it is fun to play with the waves that wash up on the shore. When the waves go into the sea, you follow them but then run back onto the beach before the incoming waves crash.
