Today, 14th August, is my birthday. I don’t like the date of my birthday because I don’t remember a special birthday party since I was a little kid. My friends went back to family home due to Obon and I could not meet my friends during the summer vacation. I always envied friends’ birthday party.
What I remember about my birthday party is that, when I went to grandma’s home, she picked up a hornets’ nest and gave me their larvae for nutrition. Damn! Who can eat? I thought it at that time. However, bring back that time, she’d cared about me. I cannot say my thanks to her because she is in heaven now. Sorry, grandma.
I’ll introduce my favorite song today, Birthday by Anri Kumaki.

I thought it at that time. (That's what I thought at the time.)

My birthday is close to Christmas so everyone is gone.
