This journal is from my diary.


Her first album "Whitney Houston" was released in 1985. It quickly became a best selling album.
I like this album very much. She sings softly, yet is powerful and soulful.

I always listen to the tape when I was driving. It was especially effective for creating a good atmosphere when I drove with my girlfriend.
My favorite song in this album is "Hold Me" performed with Teddy Pendergrass. (He died January 13, 2010 --- R.I.P.)

Her second album became more poppy and danceable. She gained more popularity , but I lost interest about then.

She had many troubles with drugs and domestic violence at the hands of her husband Bobby Brown since 2000. She lost popularity because of widespread rumors and negativity in the media.

Last year she released a new album "I Look to You". I like this album Her voice has became more husky with age. But it is soulful and emotional.
