Using Lang-8 as a social networking service
As Lang-8 site is written on top, Lang-8 is a social networking service. If you recognize Lang-8 as a social correcting service, it is misunderstanding. So, I’d like to use Lang-8 not only social correcting service but also social networking service.
What does it mean that using lang-8 as a social networking service? It is based on writing essays, and reading other’s essays with correcting and comment. It is important to write my thinking clearly and be active to network others. So, I’m going to start writing essays about what I’m interested in more frequently and find foreigners who write Japanese essays which I’m interested in.
It is not easy to network foreigners; However, We can break the wall of language with using lang-8. It is pleased. I’m decided to use lang-8 as a social networking service. I’m looking forward to other foreigners. Of course I thank my lang-8 friends!!

Lang-8のトップページに書いてある通り、Lang-8はソーシャルネットワーキングサービスです。もしLang-8をただのソーシャル添削サービスだと思っているのだとしたら、それは誤解です。だから、Lang-8をただソーシャル添削サービスとして利用するのではなく、ソーシャルネットワーキングサービスとしても利用したいです。
Lang-8をソーシャルネットワーキングサービスとして利用するとはどういう意味か？Lang-8の利用は、記事を書く事、他の人の書いた記事を読んで、添削したりコメントする事が基本になります。重要なのは、自分の考えをはっきりと書いて、他の人と繋がる事です。だから、僕は自分の興味のある事についての記事をもっと書いて、共通の興味を持つ日本語学習者を見つけたいと考えています。
外国人と繋がるのは簡単な事ではないです。しかし、Lang-8を利用する事で言語の壁を破る事ができます。とても嬉しい事です。僕はLang-8をソーシャルネットワーキングサービスとして利用する事にしました。外国人に出会えるのを楽しみにしています。もちろん、いまフレンドになっている皆様にも感謝です！

If you think of Lang-8 as a language correction service, that is a misunderstanding.
So, I’d like to use Lang-8 not only for correcting language but also for social networking.
What does it mean to use lang-8 as a social networking service?
It consists in writing essays, reading other people's essays, and making/writing corrections and comments. [Alternatives: "... reading the essays of others", "reading others' essays"]
"Other's" is the possessive form of the singular noun "other" (actually, for a person, you would usually say "another's essays" or "another person's essays").
You need the plural possessive form "others'" here, but it is an awkward word to use, since it doesn't sound any different than "other's". Many English speakers choose to change how a sentence is phrased to avoid plural possessives. I have suggested two ways of doing this.
It is important to write what I am thinking clearly and be active to network with others.
It is not easy to network with foreigners; however, we can break through the wall of language (by) using Lang-8.
Don't use a capital letter after a semicolon (;) or a comma (,); only at the beginning of a new sentence. A sentence ends with a period (.), question mark (?) or exclamation point (!).
What you are calling "the wall of language" is usually called a "language barrier".
It is a pleasure. [Alternative: It is fun. It is pleasing.]
A person is pleased.
An activity is pleasing/fun.
I’ve decided to use Lang-8 as a social networking service.
I've decided = I have decided
I'm deciding = I am deciding
I’m looking forward to meeting other foreigners. [Alternatives: I'm looking forward to contact with foreigners. I'm looking forward to contact with people from other countries. I'm looking forward to contact with people who speak other languages.]
Saying "other foreigners" means you count yourself as a foreigner; one is never a foreigner to oneself, only to people from other countries.
"Other countries" and "other languages" mean countries and languages other than one's own country and language.
Of course I thank my Lang-8 friends!!
