The ideal terms to stay here and learn English is 6 months at least, maybe 1 year, I guess.
Of course I don't have to enough time to stay so longer.

What do you think the ideal terms to stay abroad and learn language?

Personally, I think 6 months is enough. Time isn't always in our hands, so don't let time take advantage over you! Give it your all! :) "Mag aral kang mabuti:)"

Replace it with "however". (2) Sorry, sentence was rearranged to make it sound more natural.

こんばんわぁ♪

I think the ideal length time abroad to learn a foreign language varies from individual to individual. For me, personally, at least 2 to 3 months of intensive study would be ideal.

However, learning a language is one thing. Keeping it is another. I found that not using my Chinese skills after learning it caused me to forget the knowledge gradually. So I think you will still need constant practice after mastering a language. Lang-8 is the perfect place for such practice. :3
