Brahms - Intermezzo Op.118 No.2
I guess many people think this is one of the most beautiful tunes in classical music history.
This tune was made in his late carrier.
Many great conductor, such as W.A.Mozart , F.Chopin passed away in their early age. In comparison to these, Brahms lived longer, so that he could compose this tune. Listening to this, I can imagine his late life was peaceful.
I got to know he had once decided to quit to compose in his middle age on Wikipedia. We are very lucky he hadn't.

Interesting, I didn't know that about Brahms. I guess all professionals decide quitting what they do well at some point in their lives.

I LOVE this piece - I have played opus 118 and it's just amazing! I also like number 6, as it's really dark and tortured. This is one of his very last works... I think opus 122 or something is his very last work.
